Distribute the basics of life and provide hope for a better future

Providing hope for a better future

7 Day Hero partners with non-profit organizations and other NGOs to distribute LightWaterLife sustainable humanitarian aid to those in need. Whether providing the basics of life to a family in a crisis-prone region internationally or responding after a natural disaster in the United States, each kit includes access to clean drinking water, a sustainable source of electricity, protection from disease, and, most importantly, hope for a better future.

What makes LightWaterLife different?

Millions of people around the world lack access to clean drinking water, a sustainable source of electricity, and protection from disease. In fact, 80% of illnesses in developing countries are linked to poor water and sanitation conditions. Most households in developing countries are under-lit. Almost two-thirds say areas in the house lack needed light which restricts activities such as doing homework, evening work, and preparing food. These families don’t need a short-term solution. LightWaterLife humanitarian aid kits provide a long-term, sustainable solution that can dramatically change the life of their family.

01

The LightWaterLife 4-gallon container drinking water system utilizes a Sawyer® water filter that attains the highest level of filtration available today. No bacteria, protozoa, or cysts like E. coli, cholera or typhoid, can get through. The system can filter up to 500 gallons a day with a 100,000-gallon lifespan (or about ten years).

02

LightWaterLife solar power lighting system is an independent, off-grid power system with a solar panel that can provide illumination for up to 5-7 hours per night. The system includes two 16’ wires with LED bulbs and on/off switches which allows for light in two rooms. The solar panel charging time is about 4-6 hours.

03

LightWaterLife sustainable life kits are designed to provide sustainable, long-term aid solutions. Whether that involves malaria prevention through the mosquito net or emergency communication after a natural disaster, each aid kit empowers families to experience healthier and safer lives for years to come.

The basics of life improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or natural disasters.
